The new ETON HEX 28 sound quality tweeter in the premium class: a small marvel of electro-acoustics for true sound gourmets – top sound made in Germany. The 28 mm (1 1/8") fabric dome tweeter is suitable for installation in the A-pillar, dashboard and side panel of cars and mobile homes. The HEX 28 plays silky smooth and enchants with unique fine detail.

The high-end tweeter impresses with its special dome geometry, which optimizes impulse response. In addition, there is a newly developed surface finish in which the fabric dome is coated twice by hand. This guarantees the acoustic neutrality of the HEX 28 and prevents resonances or distortion. Voices and the finest details are reproduced brilliantly and richly, precisely and fully, with explosive dynamics even at the smallest signals.

The extremely powerful neodymium magnet is ventilated in several stages and also features a damped coupling volume and a corrugated pole plate construction that prevents annoying reflections behind the fabric dome. Made from a dampening plastic blend, the volume pot is particularly rigid, low-resonance, and sound-neutral thanks to its ribbed shape.

The maximum permeability, very high-quality hexagonal metal grille is held in a circumferential groove by the magnetic force of the neodymium drive and can be removed if necessary. The tweeter is enclosed in a CNC-machined and anodized aluminum mounting ring, which can also be removed. Surface-mounted enclosure balls made of CNC-milled aluminum are included.

The HEX 28 set is ideal for combination with the HEX 165 woofers and HEX 80 midrange drivers (coming soon).
